i gotta post this hat so im just gonna riff for a second, it  might be a bit cheesy but whatever, its heartfelt.

why, as a culture, is it cool to not care? why, growing up, was it not cool to be passionate or try our hardest at what we love?

for me, i loved basketball. i loved early saturday morning practice, i loved when our coach asked: "do you wanna do the easy thing or the hard thing?" i said "i wanna do the hard thing!" but that wasn't the cool answer.

but the great gift of life is learning what your own true opinions are.  then you'll be led to people who love you for those qualities. 

may your self talk reflect your highest possibility. claim you role as resident genius.
